Nurse Next Door Melbourne South East is growing, and we're looking for an experienced RN/EN with strong leadership skills to ensure our clients are protected and happy in their own homes.

Your Next Adventure

Operating in a community environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our clients are safe and happy in their own homes. You'll be working with clients with disabilities and the elderly to meet their unique needs and build professional relationships in the health industry.

Reporting to our Clinical Manager, your role will be a combination of set clients with the ability to step into vacant visits as required. The role will give the right candidate guaranteed hours with the ability for full-time equivalent hours with plenty of room to grow in the role, and will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

Performing a varied role, including active client care, client & staff relations and administration duties.

Implement tailored and meaningful client care plans that foster positive relationships between our clients and the Care Team.

Support the Care Team to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance with NDIS and Aged Care Quality Standards.

Manage clinical documentation, assessments, care plans and audits.

Provide mentorship, coaching and performance management of clinical staff.

Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and Managing Director to support the overall operational and strategic goals of the business.

Be accountable for upholding the high clinical standards set by Nurse Next Door

Why we'll love you

We're looking for someone who:





Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in a community environment (AHPRA Registered)

You are not fazed by dealing with highly dynamic situations such as changing schedules, staff management, and sometimes demanding clients daily

You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment where you are flexible, adaptable and able to respond easily to last-minute changes or challenges.

Previous community care experience in the field of NDIS and Aged Care

You will have current experience/knowledge in wound care, catheterisation, medication management, diabetes management and manual handling practices

You are a self-led leader who takes responsibility for your behaviour and success.

You are exceptionally well organised, demonstrate impeccable time management skills, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You enjoy networking and building relationships with stakeholders across the sector.

You are proficient in the use of technology across different software systems and applications.
