We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our growing team at PROmitch Pty Ltd, based in Melbourne, VIC. This full-time role is ideal for a plumber who thrives on solving complex problems across high-compliance commercial environments - including hospitals, shopping centres, and government facilities. You'll play a key role in keeping critical client sites running smoothly and safely.

What you'll be doing

- Performing routine and reactive plumbing maintenance across hospitals, shopping centres, and government facilities
- Diagnosing and resolving complex plumbing issues in live, occupied commercial environments
- Carrying out drain clearing and inspections using hydro jet and CCTV equipment
- Working independently and as part of a team on planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and project work
- Providing expert advice and practical solutions to clients and facilities managers
- Adhering to site-specific safety inductions and compliance requirements
- Collaborating with the wider team to deliver consistent, high-quality service

What we're looking for

- 5+ years' post-apprenticeship experience, ideally in commercial maintenance
- Proven experience working in hospitals, shopping centres, or government/institutional facilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and confidence diagnosing issues in complex building systems




- Hands-on experience operating hydro sewer jets and CCTV drain inspection equipment
- Solid knowledge of suspended and below-ground drainage systems
- Experience with gas and water pipework installations
- A customer-focused approach with robust communication skills, particularly when liaising with facilities managers
- A proactive, safety-first mindset and comfort working within strict compliance environments
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Prior experience with simPRO advantageous
