The future of learning is changing rapidly. Advances in AI, digital capability and learning technology are reshaping how organisations build capability, develop leaders and enable performance.

Kendall & Collins has been exclusively engaged to appoint a Manager, Learning Technology & Design for a well-established Australian organisation playing a critical role in powering homes, businesses and communities. With significant investment underway across both technology and people capability, this newly created leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the future of learning across a business that is genuinely committed to doing things differently.

This is far more than a traditional learning design role.

Reporting to the Head of Learning & Development, you'll take ownership of the organisation's learning technology roadmap and help define how learning is experienced across the business. From the implementation of a new HCM and Learning Management System through to the thoughtful application of AI and emerging technologies, you'll play a central role in creating learning experiences that are engaging, scalable and embedded into the flow of everyday work.

Rather than simply maintaining existing platforms, you'll be looking ahead. You'll stay connected to emerging technologies and evolving practices, bringing fresh ideas and practical solutions that strengthen capability across the organisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams and your Learning & Development colleagues, you'll translate strategy into outcomes that are both innovative and commercially relevant.

Leading a small team of specialists, success won't be measured by the size of your team,

but by your ability to provide direction, encourage curiosity and create an setting where technology, data and learning combine to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

We're looking for someone who is genuinely excited by the future of learning. You may have built your career in learning technology, digital learning, capability, organisational development or a closely related discipline, but you'll bring more than technical expertise. You'll be commercially minded, naturally curious and comfortable challenging traditional approaches where a better solution exists. You understand that successful innovation isn't about adopting the latest technology for its own sake, but about creating practical solutions that improve performance, engagement and capability.

You'll be joining a contemporary People & Culture function that has invested heavily in building a high-performing team with fresh thinking and diverse experience. It's an environment that values collaboration, continuous improvement and the confidence to challenge the status quo. New ideas are welcomed, experimentation is encouraged and you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine and lasting contribution to how learning evolves across the organisation.

The role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Perth and offers a hybrid working arrangement. While the position is fundamentally a full-time opportunity, we recognise that exceptional candidates may be seeking greater flexibility and would welcome a confidential discussion.

If you're excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of learning through technology, innovation and practical leadership, we'd welcome your application.
