We are seeking experienced Patient Services Assistants / Orderly to join our team on a casual basis. The role of a Patient Services Assistant / Orderly is vital in supporting the high quality care ofour clientsby providing a friendly, safe, supportive and clean hospital environment.
You will also assist in facilitating patient transfers between departments, bedmaking, preparation of patient rooms for admission and cleaning post discharge and removal of linen and waste.
Criteria
Be available to work shifts that may vary between the hours of 06:30am and 10:30pm over 7 day roster Monday to Sunday, on a casual basis
Possess excellent time management skills to function effectively in a busy hospital environment
Have a professional and enthusiastic attitude
Good work ethic and ability to work as a team player
Comply with the Infection Control Standards, as set in the Healthe Care Infection Control Policy Practice and Guidelines Manual
Comply with the requirements of the Healthe Care WHS Safety Management System, in which to enhance patients, staff and visitors comfort and safety
Skills and experience
You will possess Certificate III in Health Service Assistance.
Strong customer service focus and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
You must possess excellent time management skills to function effectively in a busy hospital environment.
The successful applicant will be required to provide evidence of a current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
