Requirements
Working alongside experienced Operators and Team Leaders, you'll assist with a variety of civil excavation and vacuum excavation projects while learning specialist skills within the industry. Safety, teamwork and delivering quality outcomes for our clients are at the heart of everything we do.
This role offers opportunities for overtime, weekend work and occasional night shifts, allowing you to maximise your earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Operators and Team Leaders with daily excavation works.
- Operate and learn specialised vacuum excavation equipment.
- Connect water and vacuum hoses for excavation activities.
- Assist with digging, cleaning pits, drains and excavation sites.
- Maintain vehicles, equipment and work areas to a high standard.
- Identify and report workplace hazards while promoting a secure working environment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service on every job site.
- Follow company procedures and all WHS requirements.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and eager to build a long-term career.
To be successful, you will have:
- Current Full HR Driver Licence (or be willing to obtain before commencement).
- Construction White Card.
- Ability to drive manual vehicles.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Flexible availability for overtime, weekends and occasional night shifts.
- Willingness to obtain a Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
