We're partnering with a large enterprise organisation undertaking ongoing investment in its data and analytics capabilities. Supporting a diverse stakeholder group and a broad technology landscape, this organisation relies on high-quality, trusted data to drive business decision-making and service delivery.An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Insights Platform Assurance Lead to join the team on an initial 12-month contract based in Brisbane, leading the ongoing operation, optimisation and continuous improvement of a modern cloud-based data platform.

Your new roleReporting into senior data leadership, you will lead a specialist team responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance and ongoing enhancement of a large-scale enterprise data platform.Working across data, analytics, architecture and technology teams, you will drive platform operations, service improvement initiatives and stakeholder engagement while helping establish best practice processes and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:Leading the day-to-day operation and support of a cloud-based data and analytics platform

- Monitoring platform performance, availability, security and cost optimisation
- Managing incident response, problem management and root cause analysis activities
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across platform monitoring, automation and operational processes
- Collaborating with engineering and architecture teams to improve platform capability and scalability
- Establishing and reporting on service levels, operational metrics and platform performance
- Coaching and developing a multidisciplinary team supporting enterprise data services




- Building strong relationships with business, analytics and technology stakeholders across the organisation

What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you'll bring a blend of technical platform expertise, operational leadership and stakeholder engagement experience.

You'll ideally demonstrate:

- Experience leading data platform, data operations, analytics platform or data engineering functions within a large enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of cloud-based data ecosystems, ideally across Azure and/or AWS technologies
- Experience supporting production data platforms and managing operational service delivery
- Knowledge of platform monitoring, performance optimisation, incident management and continuous improvement practices
- Proven people leadership experience, including mentoring and developing technical teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
- Experience working within complex, enterprise-scale environments with multiple business stakeholders
