Role Description The Integration Engineer / Implementation Specialist is a part time remote role responsible for implementing and integrating software solutions that support forensic operations and case management workflows. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and deploying systems, integrating tools and platforms, and ensuring that data flows securely and reliably between applications used by forensic experts and clients. The role involves troubleshooting integration issues, collaborating with technical and forensic teams to understand requirements, and documenting implementation processes, configuration details, and best practices.

The specialist will also participate in testing current features, optimizing system performance, and providing technical support during rollout and ongoing usage. This role requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving, requirements analysis, and evaluating system performance and data integrity.





Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to diagnose integration issues, resolve configuration conflicts, and provide technical support for end users.

Candidates should possess Software Development skills for scripting, API integration, and customizing tools or workflows to meet operational needs.

Candidates should possess Integration skills to connect applications, manage data exchange, and ensure secure and reliable interoperability between systems.

Candidates should possess Systems Engineering skills to design, implement, and maintain end-to-end technical solutions aligned with forensic lab processes.

Relevant qualifications include experience with APIs, web services, and databases; familiarity with security and data privacy practices; and a background in IT, computer science, or engineering.

Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in healthcare or forensic domains, knowledge of case management or laboratory information systems, and strong communication and documentation abilities.
