IT SUPPORT HELPDESK OFFICER

Direct Freight Express is a successful leading National Transport and Logistics company in operation for over 33 years. We seek a motivated IT Support Helpdesk professional to join our Corporate head office, located in Warwick Farm, NSW.

The successful applicant will work within an existing agile support team being the primary contact for staff and clients help desk enquiries, as well as providing support to the team in the delivery of a wide range of IT projects.

As an IT Support Helpdesk Officer you will provide first level support by analysing, troubleshooting and resolving requests. The successful candidate to possess independent analysis, problem solving and excellent communication skills.

Warwick Farm, NSW 2170

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday : 9:00am - 5:30pm The position will include duties such as but will not be limited to:

- Provide technical support to internal/external users

- Perform onsite and remote system installation

- System/Network administration and maintenance

- Troubleshoot and offer IT solutions to hardware, printers, application and network faults

- Performing initial analysis, prioritization and resolution of Helpdesk calls, escalating
- support or third party providers as appropriate.





- Maintaining appropriate user access to application software in accordance with existing procedures.

- Provide support with PDA devices and android set up

- Daily data chasing

- Some lifting required for daily label orders

- May be required to work on public holidays that are not considered national holidays

In order to be successful in this role you must possess the following skills, attributes and qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year experience within a similar position

- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills

- Exceptional telephone manner and professional communication skills

- Exceptional work ethic

- Honesty and Integrity

- Transport and Logistics experience (desirable but not essential)

- IT qualifications (desirable but not essential)

Basic Technical Knowledge in:

- Networking

- Windows Operating systems experience

- Microsoft Office, SQL
