Your Opportunity
This is a part-time position (0.6 FTE), working three days per week, with the work schedule to be agreed upon with the successful candidate.
As a Job Coach in the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program, you'll play a key role in helping participants overcome barriers and prepare for meaningful employment. You'll provide tailored, person-centred support that builds confidence, enhances employability, and connects people with sustainable job opportunities. This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact by empowering people with disability, injury, or health conditions to achieve their employment goals through practical guidance, advocacy, and coaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group-based coaching, including resume development, job applications, interview preparation, and job readiness activities that build confidence and employability.
- Identify and address barriers to employment, connecting participants with appropriate services, supports, and resources to achieve their goals.
- Develop strong relationships with employers and proactively promote participants to identify and secure meaningful employment opportunities.
- Manage a caseload effectively, providing consistent,
personalised support throughout the employment journey.
- Maintain accurate records and manage complex administration, ensuring full compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
This position operates across the West and North West Tasmania Employment Services Area (ESA), with key locations in Burnie and Devonport, and outreach services extending to surrounding regional and rural communities, including the North West Coast, Central Highlands, and West Coast regions.

- Highly proficient across digital platforms, with the ability to manage and navigate multiple systems efficiently.
- Full work rights in Australia, with the ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check.
