About the role

We are seeking an experienced Joinery specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Joinery professional, you will play a vital role in the creation and installation of bespoke joinery solutions for our clients. This position is fundamental to maintaining our high standards of craftsmanship and ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

You will work both on-site and in our workshop workplace, contributing your expertise to enhance the quality and reputation of Willsden Joinery Glass and Glazing.

Effective and strong people skills and communication with both clients and team members is essential.

With multiple jobs on the go at any one time, you thrive in a fast paced environment with the ability to problemsolve and posess strong organisation skills.

Standard working hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm with occasional overtime.

Key responsibilities

- Design, fabricate and install high-quality products including doors, windows, cabinetry and glazing / aluminium products.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications to ensure accuracy in all work.




- Operate and maintain specialised joinery tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Prepare, measure and cut related materials to precise specifications while minimising waste.
- Assemble, finish and install joinery and aluminium components on residential and commercial projects.
- Conduct quality inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to standards and client expectations.
- Liaise with clients, project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate project timelines and requirements.
- Maintain workshop and on-site areas in a clean, organised and safe condition.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and best practices in the trades industry.

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in joinery, carpentry or cabinet making, ideally within a professional workshop or construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of aluminium products and assembly, joinery techniques and finishing methods.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and joinery machinery safely and competently.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.




- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour and work at heights if required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different project requirements.
- Current driver's licence (essential for travel to various project sites).
- Current or eligible First Aid certification, DCSI clearance and police checks are desirable
- Relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeship completion in carpentry, joinery or cabinet making is highly valued.
