We are looking for a motivated and reliable Irrigation Assistant / Trainee to join our team. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, working outdoors, and learning new skills. No previous irrigation experience is required — just a good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
You will assist with the installation, servicing, repair, and maintenance of centre pivot irrigation systems while gaining practical experience with pipes, pumps and general site work.
Key Duties
- Assist with irrigation installation, repairs, servicing, and maintenance.
- Help prepare worksites, load materials, and keep work areas protected and tidy.
- Learn to use tools and equipment safely under supervision.
- Follow job instructions and workplace safety procedures.
- Work as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard.

- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Enjoy hands‑on outdoor work.
- Able to follow instructions and work safely.
- Good team attitude and communication skills.
- Driver’s licence.
- Farming, labouring, trades, machinery experience or qualifications would be helpful but is not required.
- Availability to work away and extended hours when required.
- Able to perform physical, hands‑on work and willing to complete a functional capacity assessment if required.
