About the role We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to assist with the daily operations, monitoring, maintenance, and reliability of Climate Friendly's Azure environment. This position is part of our Technology Hub and plays a critical role in ensuring our cloud services are consistently monitored, incidents are addressed swiftly, and operational tasks are managed efficiently. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping platform documentation and runbooks updated.

What you’ll do
- Support the Azure platform by monitoring its performance and ensuring reliability.
- Respond to incidents and manage operational tasks to maintain service quality.
- Collaborate with the Azure Solutions Architect to implement improvements and updates.
- Maintain and update documentation and runbooks related to cloud operations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with Azure.
- Proficiency in Azure services and cloud architecture.
- Strong understanding of monitoring tools and incident management processes.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager.
