Trade Assistant – Electrical Control Wiring

LAI Group is one of Australia’s largest switchboards and switch rooms manufacturers. With over 115 years of combined experience, we are a leader in the design and manufacture of custom switchboards and switch rooms in Australia.

As a result of continuous national growth, LAI Group is seeking Trade Assistants and individuals who are willing to learn all aspects of electrical control wiring to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Epping. We would like team members who are excited about the opportunity to build a secure, rewarding, and lucrative career with us.

Schedule

Full-time

38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime)

Salary/Wage (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration)

The Position

You will learn how to assist with the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels and switchboards, prepare and organise materials and tools for production. You will also learn and develop skills across all areas of electrical control wiring and switchboards.

The Candidate

- a strong work ethic.
- good eyesight (corrected is OK) but must have normal colour vision.
- great English comprehension with the ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
- excellent attention to detail.
- ability to work in a team environment.
- an energetic individual who shows initiative and commitment with a desire to achieve.
