We are seeking a Senior Developer to join our team at the NSW Department of Customer Service. This position focuses on enhancing our digital services, particularly within the Births, Deaths, and Marriages (BDM) sector. - Location: Pyrmont, Sydney, Australia
- Engagement: Temporary, full time for 2 years
- Compensation: $133,348 - $146,945 per year, plus employer superannuation contributions and annual leave loading
- Team: Digital and Identity Security Division

What you'll do

- Design and implement software solutions to improve digital services for the BDM sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.




- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Strong understanding of web technologies and frameworks.
- Experience with database management systems and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
