Baker Hughes is the leading energy technology company. As a Field Specialist III – LWD/DD, you will run the operations of drilling sites using the latest technology, monitoring well sites, troubleshooting, and ensuring efficiency is maintained.

Responsibilities

- Develop and demonstrate proficiency for delivery of Logging while Drilling & Directional Drilling services at the well site.
- Work in difficult drilling and logging environments to provide complex solutions to customers and manage drilling well trajectories as per design.
- Solve often complex drilling problems by monitoring, analysing and evaluating incidents using logging and drilling data.
- Utilise broad knowledge of the product line's tool(s) and/or service for data analysis when required.
- Maintain and test tools and equipment used for Logging while Drilling and/or Directional Drilling activities.
- Demonstrate experience of leading, mentoring and motivating teams in a technical environment.
- Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance, and Baker Hughes Core Values.
- Execute other related duties as assigned.
- Support incident investigations; troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.

Qualifications

- Good hands‑on knowledge and experience with Measurement/Logging While Drilling tools, rotary steerable systems and downhole motors.




- Preferably an understanding of telemetry systems and attendance at DD Academy and MWD Academy.
- Experienced problem solver with a methodical approach to solving complex customer issues.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills under pressure.
- Willing to gain industry experience and undergo product line training.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- Ability to work independently.
- Minimum 3+ years of industry experience.
