About the Role
As a Mental Health Inpatient RN, you'll join multidisciplinary teams delivering high‑quality, recovery‑focused care to consumers experiencing acute and complex mental health presentations.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Mental state examinations and risk assessments
- Care planning, implementation and evaluation
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Crisis intervention, de‑escalation and behavioural support
- Trauma‑informed, consumer‑centred care
- Collaborative work with medical, nursing and allied health teams
- Accurate clinical documentation and case notes
What You'll Need
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years recent Mental Health Inpatient experience
- Experience in acute, HDU, PICU, sub‑acute or older persons MH
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Relevant state‑based clearances as required
- Full Australian working rights
- Current driver's licence desirable for certain locations
