You might know this role as a Transport Planner, Freight Coordinator or Operations Supervisor— same work, different title.
This role sits at the operational centre of our Gippsland Farm Milk Collection operations — you'll own the daily farm schedule, manage driver compliance, control costs and keep customers on side. You'll report to the Operations Manager and work closely with drivers, ops and key accounts. Working a 4 on 4 off roster, 6am–6pm.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate daily milk collection schedules for on-time delivery
- Manage drivers on route changes, delays and operational issues
- Build strong relationships with drivers, farmers and customers
- Resolve collection, delivery and customer service incidents
- Champion safety through communication, coaching and leadership
What You Will Bring
- Background in transport operations, freight scheduling or logistics
- Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management
- BFM certificate,
or ready to obtain one
- Strong communicator — comfortable with drivers, customers and managers
- Decisive and organised; holds up well under operational pressure
