About the Role
Reporting to the Depot Manager, you'll manage an established delivery run, ensuring customers receive their orders on time while identifying opportunities to grow sales and strengthen existing relationships.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating a Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicle across a designated delivery route.
- Delivering premium smallgoods to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Loading and unloading products using safe manual handling practices and forklift.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identifying opportunities to increase sales and promote recent product lines.
- Processing delivery documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintaining a clean and well-presented vehicle.
- Ordering and rotating stock for the sales route.
- Providing outstanding customer service on every delivery.
What We're Looking For
- A current HR Truck License.
- A safe driving record and commitment to workplace safety.
- Previous experience in delivery driving or transport.
- Experience and understanding of stock rotation and stock management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- The ability to work independently and manage your daily route.
- Previous FMCG, food service or route sales experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
