About the role

The Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) serves as a technical expert within the Channels and Alliances segment. You will guide partners through complex technical initiatives such as application modernization, cloud migration, and DevOps transformation to drive mutual success.

What you'll do

- Manage the onboarding, training, and certification of technical resources within partner organizations.
- Conduct joint business planning and review sessions to align technical strategies between Datadog and partners.
- Facilitate internal collaboration to support partner-led activities, including proofs of value, end-customer demonstrations, and enablement workshops.
- Represent partner technical requirements and feedback to internal Datadog product and engineering teams.
- Evaluate partner service offerings and provide guidance on integrating Datadog features to increase service value.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for platform adoption and assist in prioritizing new product capabilities.

Requirements

- 10-15 years of experience in a technical role focused on customer or partner engagement.
- Strong technical foundation with practical experience in IT development or operations.




- Ability to communicate technical value effectively to both technical teams and executive leadership.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Observability (Datadog, Splunk, AppD, New Relic, Dynatrace); Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba); Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry); Programming (Python, Javascript, Ruby, Perl, PHP, Go); Configuration Management (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef); CI/CD (Jenkins, Gitlab).

Nice to have

- Experience working in a technical capacity for or supporting channel partners, such as Managed Services Providers or Systems Integrators.
- Familiarity with Datadog or other cloud monitoring tools, including APM, Infrastructure, Logs, Synthetics, or NPM.
- Background in debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
