We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitter - Project Installer to join our Cairns Workshop team at Nqpetro, a leading installation, maintenance, and service provider in the petroleum industry.

Responsibilities:

- Perform fitting and welding tasks as required for installation, maintenance, and repair projects.
- Conduct routine maintenance activities on equipment used by the company and its customers.

Skills:

- Strong mechanical fitting skills
- Proficient in welding techniques
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a team workplace
- Excellent problem-solving abilities

Qualifications & Experience:

- Trade qualification in mechanical fitting or similar field is required.
- Previous experience in the fuel industry would be an advantage but not necessary.
- Strong team player who can work unsupervised
