You’re a great communicator - you ask questions, are curious and will keep digging until you're confident you've got the right answer.

You take a lot of pride in your work and recognise the impact a great estimator makes to a business. You don’t just care about the numbers - you want to make sure the entire project will be successful for everyone.

You're probably at the stage of your career where you've done plenty of commercial work, or maybe you've already built a strong background in industrial estimating. Either way, you're looking for something more compelling.

You don't want to estimate the same shopping centres, apartments or office fit-outs for the next ten years. You want projects that make you think, will challenge you and make you even better.

This role is an Electrical Estimator with CJ Pearce. They specialise in some of the most technically challenging electrical projects in the country - high voltage, hazardous areas, industrial facilities, maritime, power stations, etc.

Every project is different and bespoke. Almost every estimate requires genuine problem-solving because you're often pricing work before the final design even exists.

You’ll need to think through constructability,



develop concepts, identify quantities and create practical solutions - it is not simply measured from completed drawings.

So if you're someone who gets bored pricing the same type of project over and over again, you'll probably love what CJ Pearce does.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Sales and project teams, visiting sites, meeting with clients and developing estimates that help win exciting projects. The business is looking for someone experienced who can hit the ground running, although they're open to commercial estimators with strong design-to-price experience who are looking to move into the industrial sector.

The role is based in Sunshine West, with regular site visits and flexible start and finish times. A company vehicle (or car allowance), competitive salary and bonuses are also on offer.
