About the role The role is a broad commercial litigation role where you will provide support and assistance to our senior practitioners on larger court matters.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Drafting advices, pleadings and prepare matters for hearing;

- Contested commercial litigation matters;

- Insolvency matters, bankruptcy and company liquidations;

- Provide support and assistance to our Principal and Consultant Solicitor, on larger court matters;

- Have exposure to all aspects of the litigation process from taking the client’s instructions to appearing in court;





- Case based Legal Research for the senior practitioners; and

- Assist with business development and marketing initiatives

Skills we value:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

- Experience working in Commercial Litigation, particularly Dispute Resolution, highly regarded (2-3yrs PAE);

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;

- Strong research and drafting skills;

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

- Ability to meet deadlines;

- A desire to learn and develop professionally;

- Full Australian working rights
