Our New

Zealand team plays a key role in high-voltage transmission and distribution projects supporting New Zealand’s energy transition.

Key Responsibilities Monitoring and controlling cost activities through project lifecycle

Supporting the implementation of project cost management programmes that provide an accurate reflection of project performance

Ensuring that cost reports are delivered on time and within the guidelines of the project controls processes and procedures

Developing project budgets in accordance with project estimate

Producing updates to project cost forecasts

Issuing project change orders/variations

Liaise with project management, project planning and others as required to ensure accuracy in project cost phasing and forecasting

Liaise with procurement, finance and time-capture functions, and third parties as required, to ensure accurate and timely capture of procurement, materials,



subcontract and labour manhour costs.

Ensure costs are allocated accurately in accordance with approved project cost

Assess and communicate cost and schedule impact of change notifications ? What You’ll Bring Previous cost controller experience desirable

Degree in relevant technical or business discipline or can be substituted by suitable industry experience.

Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management

High attention to detail and strong interpersonal and communication skills

Contract administration exposure, including the practical application of AS standard forms of contracts

Intermediate to Advanced MS office skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and prior experience with SAP highly regarded. ? Why Join APD? Work on major transmission, distribution, and renewable energy projects across Australia
