Are you passionate about growing good food, caring for land and being part of a practical, hands-on team? We are looking for a Farm Hand to join the Landsmith Market Garden at an exciting stage in its development.

The Market Garden is part of Landsmith Home Farm, a 160-hectare property just five minutes from Margaret River town centre. The Home Farm sits within a broader, integrated landholding that includes over 700ha of productive grazing land, natural bushland and conservation areas, and the neighbouring Voyager Estate vineyards.

You will be joining a newly formed, integrated Land team that brings together market gardening, viticulture, grazing and livestock, machinery operations and broader land care. It is an opportunity to be part of a growing project with a clear long-term vision: to produce beautiful, regenerative food while caring for the landscapes that support it.

As a Farm Hand, you will play an significant role in daily market garden operations, from planting and crop care through to harvesting, washing, packing and preparing produce for delivery. You will be supported by, and report to, the Market Garden Coordinator.

The role has a strong market garden focus, but there will also be opportunities to contribute to broader land-based work across our regenerative farming and vineyard operations.

What you’ll be doing

- Assist with planting, cultivating and harvesting organically grown vegetables in greenhouse and field production.
- Monitor crop health and growth and report issues to the Coordinator.
- Implement integrated pest and disease (IPM) and weed management practices as directed.
- Operate a tractor and attach/remove tractor implements.
- Follow certified organic farming guidelines and standard operating procedures.




- Pack and prepare produce for market distribution and sales, including post-harvest washing, weighing and order sorting.
- Keep records and enter data into a spreadsheet or software program.
- Complete deliveries using the market garden vehicle as required.

About you You may already have experience in farming, market gardening, horticulture or another practical outdoor role – all training and development will be provided. Most importantly, you will be dependable, coachable and genuinely interested in learning. You will enjoy working outside, taking direction, being part of a small team and contributing to a bigger shared purpose. The role requires some periods of working without oversight.

You must be physically fit to perform manual work associated with market gardening, and able to work outside in varied conditions.

Experience with organic, biological or regenerative farming practices would be highly regarded, as would confidence and skills working with machinery, tools and farm infrastructure.

A current manual driver’s license is required.
