As a Laser Operator at Pipe-Weld, you will be responsible for operating an advanced and enclosed laser cutting machine to produce high-quality components for our manufacturing clients. This full time role is based in Prestons, NSW and will see you working as part of a dynamic team to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results.
What you'll be doing
- Operate and maintain a 6KW enclosed laser cutting machine to produce components to tight tolerances and specifications
- Set up machinery, load materials, and monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform basic maintenance
- Interpret technical drawings and work instructions to understand part requirements
- Identify and resolve any operational issues or machine malfunctions in a timely manner
- Maintain quality standards, accurate production records and adhere to WHS procedures.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to coordinate workflows and meet deadlines
Hours of work
- 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday, overtime opportunities available.

- Proven experience as a Laser Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to use basic CAD software

- Positive problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Forklift licence and white card required
