We arecurrently seeking application from experienced Drill orDiesel Fitters for a Full-Time 7/7 FIFOposition at our Carmichael Coal Mine Project located in Central Queensland. Paid flights areavailable from Rockhampton or Townsville . This role is arotating day and shift position.
Experience working on drill rigs ishighly desired, however, experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters who maynot have worked on drill rigs before are encouraged toapply.
Thesalary/wage range for this role is $65.00 to $74.00 per hour withTrade-certified Fitters who are new to mining or drill rigs towardsthe lower end of that range and experienced Drill Fitters andLeading Hands towards the higher end.
Reporting to theMaintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for, but not limitedto, the following:
- Perform scheduleddrill servicing across our REICHDrill rigs
- Prioritising workloadsor unscheduled repairs when required
- Maintaining andservicing support equipment
- Fulfilling all safetyrequirements and maintenance reporting needs.
ESSENTIAL Skillsand requirements include:
- TradeCertificate (Mechanical)
- HandTools
- DriverLicence
- Highlevel of diagnostic skills and field service fault finding ishighly regarded
- Ability to workautonomously and part of a team
- Physical fitness andability to perform manual labour
- Ability to workautonomously with minimal supervision
- Ability to work aspartof a small team
- Excellentcommunication skills and safety awareness
