EWS Group is seeking an experienced and reliable Night Shift Hook Truck Driver to join our growing transport division based at Glenfield NSW.

EWS Group specialises in transport and recycling solutions for the concrete industry, working closely with major concrete suppliers across Sydney. Due to continued growth, we require a professional driver to service our concrete plant network.

About the Role

As a Night Shift Hook Truck Driver, your main responsibility will be collecting and exchanging EWS concrete hook bins from various concrete plants across Sydney and returning material back to our recycling facility.

You will play an important role in ensuring our customers’ sites continue operating efficiently by providing reliable, safe and qualified service.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a Hook Truck safely and professionally on night shift
- Pick up and exchange EWS concrete hook bins from concrete plants across Sydney
- Deliver full bins back to our recycling facility
- Ensure empty bins are delivered and positioned correctly at customer sites
- Communicate with allocations and concrete plant staff throughout your shift
- Complete daily pre-start checks and vehicle inspections




- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation
- Ensure paperwork and job information is completed accurately
- Follow all safety procedures and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
- Represent EWS Group professionally with our major customers

The Successful Applicant MUST Have:

- Current HR Driver’s Licence (minimum requirement)
- Previous Hook Truck experience (essential)
- Ability to safely load, unload and operate hook bins
- Good knowledge of Sydney metro areas
- Experience reversing and positioning bins in tight areas
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently at night
- Strong communication skills
- Respect for equipment and customer sites
- Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a growing team

Experience working around concrete plants, recycling, construction or heavy transport environments will be highly regarded.
