About the job
The Senior Health Programs Editor is responsible for managing the development of digital healthcare-focused programs from concept to delivery, ensuring content accuracy and industry compliance, and is the primary liaison for pharma clients.
Role Responsibilities
Program design and development:
- Translate client requirements into clear project briefs and communicate them effectively to internal teams.
- Utilise your health communications skills to prepare program templates, evaluate copy and curate structured content that guides clients to deliver communications which align program purpose, platform suitability and user experience.
- Source images and create simple graphics using design-based tools.
- Review and edit content ensuring accuracy and quality across all program components, with an eye for the design and layout of the finished digital product.
- Proofread final production materials.
- Prepare accurate, high-quality proofs for client approval.
Project & workflow management:
- Serve as the primary liaison for assigned clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing any project-related inquiries or concerns.
- Manage schedules and priorities for assigned projects, coordinating all stakeholders to provide deliverables within agreed timelines.
- Manage all aspects of project development.
- Maintain regular Work-in-Progress meetings and report on program progress.
Program execution:
- Brief developers on program specifications for successful program implementation and execution.
- Set up and test program surveys.
- Brief Data team to prepare reporting templates customised for new programs.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in healthcare communications, including in agency.
- 2 years of experience in managing the content development process for multiple digital communications projects, for pharmaceutical industry clients.
- Strong ability to build trusted client-relationships.
- Strong proofreading and copywriting skills.
- Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Completion of Medicines Australia Code of Conduct is desirable.
