Secure Temporary Fencing operating for 20 years is seeking a full-time Truck Driver/Labourer to join our team based in Craigieburn, VIC. This is a hands-on position that combines driving responsibilities with general labouring duties, playing a vital role in the delivery and installation of our temporary fencing solutions across Victoria. You will be responsible for transporting fencing materials to job sites and assisting with the physical setup and maintenance of temporary fencing installations. This role is essential to ensuring our clients receive timely and professional service.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain company vehicles to transport temporary fencing materials and equipment to various job sites across the region
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues
- Assist with the loading and unloading of fencing panels, posts, bases and associated equipment from vehicles
- Installation and setup of temporary fencing systems at client locations
- Support the removal and collection of fencing materials from completed job sites
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and time spent at each location
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and clients regarding delivery schedules and project requirements
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies on job sites
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
What we're looking for
- Valid Australian driver'sMR truck licence with a clean driving record
- Experience operating light or heavy commercial vehicles
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting heavy materials
- Demonstrated experience in labouring or construction-related work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual work ethic with a strong commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures on construction and work sites
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and environments
- Preferred: Experience with temporary fencing.
