Supplying a modern fleet of excavators, loaders, rollers and other earthmoving equipment, they have built a strong reputation for quality equipment and outstanding customer service.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Hand/HR Driver to join their team.

Let's be upfront about the role. This isn't an office job, and it isn't always glamorous. You'll spend your days outdoors cleaning and preparing heavy machinery for hire, moving equipment around the yard and helping keep operations running smoothly. In winter you'll be working in the cold, and in summer you'll be working in the heat. You'll get wet, dusty and dirty, but you'll also finish each day knowing you've earned your pay.

The difference is that this role offers far more than washing machinery.

This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced mechanics, technicians and plant operators while gaining valuable exposure to the earthmoving industry. Your day to day duties will include cleaning and detailing excavators, loaders, rollers and other plant equipment, preparing machinery ready for customer hire, transporting equipment using the company HR truck when required, assisting with basic workshop tasks and helping maintain a safe, organised and professional yard.

What we're looking for

This role won't suit everyone. We're looking for someone who enjoys physical work,



doesn't mind getting their hands dirty and is happy working outdoors in all weather conditions.

It would particularly suit someone who has recently completed, or is currently working towards, plant operator tickets and is looking for a way to break into the earthmoving industry. We know one of the biggest challenges for new operators is gaining practical industry experience. While this isn't an operator position, it does provide the opportunity to work around a wide range of modern earthmoving equipment every day, learn from experienced industry professionals and build the knowledge and confidence that can open doors in the future.

- Mechanical aptitude or an interest in heavy equipment would be highly regarded
