We’re seeking amotivated and team-orientated existing heavy vehicle trainer/assessor OR a heavy vehicle driver looking for an exciting and rewarding career change to join our friendly and close-knit team.
About the position
- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime and Saturday work available
- $44 per hour plus superannuation
- Training qualifications provided
- Located Melbourne Western Suburbs
The primary responsibility of a trainer/assessor is to deliver, assess and evaluate outcome whilst ensuring that contractual and compliance requirement for the delivery are met in accordance with relevant Government bodies and company policies and procedures.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who has the ability to work well in a team and who is devoted to being a team player. We have got fantastic crew currently so team fit is a high priority to us.
It is important that the new addition to our team is able to make judgements and have a consistent approach to their delivery that is inline with VicRoads and company policies and procedures.
It is advantageous that you currently hold a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, however this is not essential. Experience in heavy vehicle driver training is not essential – all training is provided, and you will receive accredited training certificates for modules required.

Minimum on-boarding requirements
- Heavy rigid licence
- Clean driving history (Satisfactory VicRoads drivers transcript would be required during second stage of hiring process)
- National Police check (Required during second stage of hiring process)
- Minimum of 12 months demonstrable heavy vehicle driving experience in the past 5-years (must provide reference during second stage of hiring process)
