We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Management Officer to join our Asset Data & Systems Team. Graduates trained in engineering, accounting, geospatial information systems or related fields with competencies in data analysis. The successful candidates will work across the Strategic Asset Management unit including asset data, systems, strategy and planning functions.
This position is a fantastic opportunity for graduates or those with a few years’ experience to kick start their career in infrastructure asset management in local government and contribute to the ongoing development of quality asset management systems and practices at Yarra Ranges. If you have a drive for excellence, are a quick learner, have good communication skills and a sense of fun you’ll enjoy working with our team!
This is a permanent full time position (38 hours per week).
This is a band 5 role with a salary range between $80,490 and $89,430, plus superannuation.

Experience and skills we’re looking for
- Understanding/experience in the discipline of Asset Management and associated processes, practices and procedures
- Knowledge/experience in asset management software and geographical information systems
- Experience in data quality management would be an advantage
- Ability to problem solve and achieve the best outcome for the team
