What you’ll do

- Provide First Aid and Mental Health First Aid, supporting people in crisis or medical emergencies
- Promote safe nights out through engagement with party goers, harm reduction, and safe transport support
- Collaborate with emergency services and venue security

Role Details

Volunteer on Friday and/or Saturday nights with shifts approximate 9:30pm-3:00am. Located in Salamanca & Hobart CBD. Volunteer as often as suits you.

Training and ongoing support provided.

Volunteers operate in pairs, with a support worker/coordinator always on hand.

Requirements

- Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP)
- Excellent Communication skills
- Open‑mind and a desire to learn
- Work well within a small team
- Prior training and/or experience in first aid, mental health first aid, etc. are desirable, but not essential.
