Community Housing Limited is seeking a Housing Officer to deliver high quality tenancy and property management services in Morwell, Victoria.

Responsibilities

- Deliver quality tenancy and property management services.
- Support sustainable tenancies and positive housing outcomes.
- Manage rent collection and arrears recovery accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct condition reports, tenancy sign‑ups, entry procedures, lease and rent reviews, and exit procedures.
- Liaise with asset teams regarding tenanted and vacated property maintenance.
- Coordinate reporting, complaints, compliance, quality and accountability requirements to CHL standards.
- Maintain accurate property and tenancy data across required systems.
- Represent CHL at Tribunal or Court as required.
- Provide information and advice to tenants to support sustainable tenancies.

Qualifications

- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar housing, tenancy or property management role.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act.
- Experience delivering tenancy management, rent, arrears, compliance and customer service activities.




- Awareness and sensitivity to the needs of people in housing crisis or with complex support needs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including working with support agencies and government departments.
- Commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing.
- A current Driver’s Licence.
- Applicants will be subject to satisfactory pre‑employment checks, including Police, Working with Children and NDIS checks where applicable.
