The role:
You’ll play a key role in maintaining production equipment to maximise uptime and ensure secure, efficient manufacturing operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Equipment installation, upgrades and continuous improvement projects
- Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records
- Following GMP standards and site safety procedures at all times
About you:
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter/Fitter & Turner or equivalent
- Previous experience in FMCG, food, beverage, pharmaceutical or other high-volume manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding and practical experience working within GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environments
- Experience maintaining conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, packaging equipment and automated production lines
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- A proactive attitude with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
