We are seeking a motivated and reliable Gardener to join our team at Chris Edwards Design in Mount Waverley, VIC 3149. This role can be casual, part-time or full-time, with a company vehicle for the right candidate. Hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday — no weekend work.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with general gardening and landscaping tasks, such as mowing, weeding, planting, and garden maintenance. Preparing and maintaining gardens, flower beds, and other landscaped areas. Operating gardening equipment and machinery safely and efficiently. Assisting with residential landscaping projects, such as paving, irrigation and fencing. Ensuring a clean and tidy work workplace at all times.

Once trained, you'll be required to work autonomously and take responsibility for your own garden maintenance jobs, with the possibility of leading a team of two.

What we're looking for

Experience in garden maintenance. Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks. Familiarity with common gardening tools and equipment.



A current driver's licence is required. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Horticultural qualifications highly regarded, although not necessary.

Chris Edwards Design is a small residential garden maintenance company. We do regular garden work as well as small landscaping projects with plenty of variety. Our jobs are in the inner south east of Melbourne, working in some amazing gardens.
