At OhayoPet, we're looking for a passionate and reliable Animal Care Attendant to join our premium cat boarding team in Springvale. This hands-on role involves caring for our feline guests, providing daily playtime and enrichment, maintaining exceptional hygiene standards, creating photo and video updates for owners, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

Certificate in Animal Care (or equivalent qualification) is required.

Ability to recognise signs of illness or stress in cats and confidently manage basic health and welfare concerns.

Passionate about animal welfare with excellent observation and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily care including feeding, fresh water, litter cleaning and health monitoring.

Conduct individual playtime sessions, interact with cats based on their personalities, and provide enrichment activities.





Capture photos and videos during playtime, edit short videos, and prepare customer updates.

Clean and sanitise cat rooms, bedding, bowls and common areas to our premium hygiene standards.

Deliver friendly customer service during check-in, check-out and daily communications.

Work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining a high standard of animal care.

Be available to work weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.

Perform physically active duties, including cleaning, lifting supplies

A two-week paid probation period applies, with wages paid in accordance with the Fair Work Animal Care and Veterinary Services Award. At the end of the probation period, applicants will be expected to work efficiently and confidently as part of our team while consistently meeting our standards of animal care, hygiene, and customer service.
