Product Assembler (Full Time or Part Time)

IMRA Surgical is a Melbourne based MedTech startup and global leader in surgical robotic training. We design and manufacture clinically validated, hyper-realistic, synthetic human torsos and organ models that enable MedTech companies, surgeons, and teaching hospitals to replace cadavers and live animals in surgical training globally.

Position Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Prototype Product Assembler for a full-time or part-time on-site role (6-month contract with the opportunity to extend to permanent). We have outgrown our current building in North Melbourne, so will move to Port Melbourne once the building construction is completed in May 2026.

The Product Assembler will play a critical role in our manufacturing team, responsible for day-to-day laboratory operations, assembling high-quality synthetic organ models, and ensuring precise manufacturing processes. Key duties include:

Assembling products according to detailed specifications and procedures, in our clean lab facilities.

Conducting and documenting manufacturing processes and batch history records accurately.

Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.





Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety protocols.

Reporting findings and progress to the management team.

Skills:

Team player.

Strong ability to follow and document manufacturing processes.

Awareness and adherence to laboratory safety protocols.

Understanding of general laboratory procedures and research processes.

Prior product assembly experience in a cleanroom laboratory is desirable.
