Our client is a well-established boutique accounting firm with an outstanding reputation for developing accountants and providing genuine career progression. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join their collaborative team in Melbourne.
Responsibilities
- Prepare BAS, IAS, payroll tax, and income tax returns
- Assist with preparation of financial statements for various entity types
- Research tax matters and assist in resolving client queries
- Reconcile tax accounts and support tax provision work
- Liaise directly with clients to ensure timely, accurate outcomes

Requirements
- 2+ years' business services/public practice experience
- Robust communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
- Solid understanding of Australian tax legislation
- Experience using accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, or similar)
- Part or full CA/CPA qualifications
