Connect People is looking for an experienced Grounds Person for an immediate start on a secure site based in Laverton, with occasional travel to the nearby Point Cook base.
What's in it for you
- $34.76 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm (8 hour days)
- Initial contract to late October 2026 with solid potential for ongoing work
- Company vehicle provided for on-site and inter-base travel
- Work outdoors as part of a solid team
What you'll be doing
- Brush cutting and hedging
- Mowing and hand weeding
- Branch removal
- General grounds maintenance to keep the site safe and looking sharp
What you need
- Previous experience in brush cutting and hedging
- Valid driver's licence
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory for base access and clearance)
- Willing to undergo background checks
- Reliable self-starter, comfortable with an early start
- Mower experience preferred but not essential
