We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and physically fit Chilled Warehouse Packer & Consolidation Operator to join our team. This role involves working in a chilled warehouse environment, unpacking cartons, consolidating products onto export pallets, and preparing orders for dispatch. You will also be responsible for applying product labels and ensuring all products are packed accurately in accordance with customer and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Unpack cartons and inspect products for quality.
- Consolidate products onto export pallets according to packing instructions.
- Apply product and export labels accurately.
- Repack products into cartons where required.
- Wrap, secure, and prepare pallets for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised chilled warehouse.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene,
and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
Work Schedule
At a minimum, you will be required to work four consecutive days every three weeks, typically from Friday through to Wednesday, with standard working hours of 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Additional shifts may be available depending on operational requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a chilled or food-grade warehouse environment will be viewed favourably.
- Ability to perform manual handling and lift cartons safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
