Role Opportunity: Lead the delivery of civil engineering activities across major resource sector projects for a global engineering consultancy. This role provides technical leadership, design management responsibility, and the opportunity to support high-profile customers across mining and infrastructure developments.

Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor of Civil Engineering or related degree.

- 15+ years' experience in mining, resources, energy, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary civil design teams and technical project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of civil design, Australian Standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience with earthworks, roads, construction pads, pipelines, and site infrastructure.
- Skilled in preparing and reviewing engineering studies, calculations, reports, and design documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, 12D, or similar civil design software.
- Solid communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience across concept, feasibility, detailed design, and project execution phases.
- Understanding of engineering governance, quality processes, and design reviews.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 and collaborating across geographically dispersed teams.
- CPEng status or eligibility highly regarded.





Duties & Responsibilities

- Lead civil engineers and designers to deliver quality outcomes that meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, project schedules, and budget objectives.
- Provide technical leadership across mining and infrastructure projects, including earthworks, access roads, construction pads, pipelines, and site development works.
- Review project scopes, specifications, and design requirements, developing fit-for-purpose solutions and preparing engineering studies, calculations, and reports.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams through design reviews, risk assessments, approval processes, and stakeholder engagement across the project lifecycle.
- Manage project scope, resources, budgets, and deliverables while resolving technical challenges and mentoring engineers to support successful project outcomes.
