An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced

Principal Java Developer to support the development and enhancement of a mission-critical enterprise application. You'll join a highly skilled team delivering backend and cloud solutions using Java, AWS and Oracle technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications.

- Build REST/SOAP APIs and cloud solutions on AWS.

- Design and implement Oracle database solutions.

- Develop React-based web interfaces.

- Support CI/CD pipelines, software releases and DevOps practices.

- Produce technical documentation and provide application support.

- Participate in a shared on-call roster (rare after-hours callouts).

Required Skills

- 8+ years' Java development experience.

- Spring/Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate.

- AWS (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, CloudFormation).

- Oracle Database, SQL/PLSQL.

- REST, SOAP, OpenAPI, XML/JSON.

- Linux/Unix, Bash, Git, Jenkins and Maven.

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

This is an excellent prospect to work on a long-term contract within a collaborative team delivering critical enterprise solutions.
