About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join our growing and fast paced defence litigation practice
Managing daily administrative operations, including calendar and file management
Opening and closing client files with attention to detail, including preparing tailored costs agreements
Drafting, proofreading, formatting, and finalising a wide range of legal documents and correspondence
Electronically filing court documents across multiple jurisdictions with accuracy and timeliness
Communicating professionally with clients, barristers, courts, medical providers, and external agencies to coordinate case matters
Preparing and distributing high-volume monthly billing with precision and efficiency
Supporting firm growth through assistance with business development initiatives and coordination of client events
Assembling comprehensive working files, court documents, and briefs for Counsel to ensure smooth case preparation
Managing the scanning and printing of large-scale documents for case files and court submissions
Systematically archiving closed matters in compliance with firm protocols and legal requirements
Handling various ad-hoc administrative and legal support tasks to maintain smooth office operations About you:
2+ years legal admin experience within a busy litigation team
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Experience using programs such as Aderant, iManage, InfoTrack and Chrome River
Experience in complex billing processes
Strong understanding of computer software with advance knowledge of the Microsoft office suite Why WK?
