About the Role The Legal and Client Support Officer within the Bail Operations Team provides a range of clerical and administrative services including but not limited to, responding to enquiries, maintaining inboxes, maintaining state-wide Virtual Bail Cout roster, liaising with the various stakeholders and Government Departments and balancing competing demands and priorities.

The Bail Operation

Team provides support to practitioners and ensures the effective and efficient operation of legal services within the Bail Division and Legal Aid NSW.

This role offers a lot of variety, no single day will be the same, you will work with multiple stakeholders and a diverse range of business units to deliver the array of administrative services.

About You

You are a committed, stakeholder focussed team member. You are a team player who delivers consistent quality services in a high-volume environment. Your high-level communication skills support you in dealing with our stakeholders and legal staff interactions. These interactions include liaising with Police, Courts and external practitioners and legal administrative functions.

The role requires you to use Microsoft office suite and work with other Legal Aid centric systems, where applicable training will be provided to use Legal Aid systems.

Essential Requirements

- Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing roles) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary roles)

- Willingness to undertake relevant pre-employment checks, Criminal Record Check, and Conduct Service Check
