About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring casual Educator to work before school, after school, and during vacation care. This role is approximately 12–15 hours per week in a conveniently located service with great access to public transport.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator

- Provide warm, nurturing care and genuine support for every child
- Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment
- Design and lead fun, inclusive recreational and educational activities
- Build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with the team
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for children and families
- Join exciting excursions and special events during vacation care

Job Requirements

- Hold or be working towards a Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines (desirable)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)




- Child protection training preferred (or willingness to complete)
- Effective oral and written communication skills within the workplace
