We're investing heavily in new manufacturing technology, automation and production capability, and we're looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter / Fabricator who wants to be part of that journey.
Working alongside our Continuous Improvement Manager, you'll play a key role in making our factory safer, smarter and more efficient every day.

About the Role
Your days will include a mix of:
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance across our manufacturing plant
- Welding and fabrication of machinery, guards, conveyors and custom equipment
- Designing and building engineering improvements
- Installing and commissioning new production equipment
- Working with our Continuous Improvement Manager to reduce downtime and improve efficiencies
- Manufacturing custom parts and modifications
- Supporting automation and new equipment installations
- Troubleshooting mechanical faults
- Contributing ideas that improve productivity, quality and safety

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner, Mechanical Fitter or similar
- Solid welding and fabrication skills (MIG/TIG)
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Excellent mechanical fault-finding ability
- A practical mindset and pride in quality workmanship
- A passion for improving equipment and processes
- The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit engineering team
Food manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.
