Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our creative team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic hospitality and tourism brand, creating visually compelling designs that enhance our brand presence and customer experience. Based in Port Melbourne, VIC, this contract role will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining our visual identity across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints. You will be instrumental in translating our brand vision into engaging creative solutions that resonate with our diverse clientele looking after 3 Japanese Pastry Brand - Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart, PAFU and KURIMU.

What you'll be doing

- Develop and design marketing materials including promotional graphics, social media content, and digital advertisements
- Create cohesive visual designs that align with Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart, PAFU and KURIMU's brand guidelines and aesthetic
- Design packaging, in-store signage, menus and other customer-facing collateral
- Collaborate with marketing and management teams to conceptualise and execute creative campaigns
- Produce print and digital assets optimised for various platforms and mediums
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual communications
- Incorporate customer feedback and market trends into design solutions
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously whilst meeting agreed deadlines

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a portfolio demonstrating strong creative and visual design skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience in creating digital and print designs for hospitality, food and beverage,



or retail brands
- Strong understanding of branding, visual hierarchy, colour theory and typography
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Familiarity with social media design requirements and digital marketing best practices
- A keen eye for current design trends whilst maintaining timeless brand aesthetics
- Preferred: Experience in the food and beverage industry or hospitality sector
