Bidgee Welding Pty Ltd is seeking a full time Qualified Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW. As a Qualified Welder/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality metal products, contributing to the overall success of our company.

What you'll be doing

- Perform welding and fabrication tasks to the highest standards, using a variety of welding techniques and equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
- Operate various machinery and tools, such as grinders, saws, and measuring devices, to prepare and assemble metal components
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the fabrication process
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all relevant health and safety protocols
- Assist with the training and mentoring of less experienced team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise

What we're looking for

- A recognised qualification in welding and metal fabrication, with several years of hands-on experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in a range of welding techniques,



including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues during the fabrication process
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and to mentor and train less experienced team members
- A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to job sites when required
