Responsibilities
- Proactively map, prospect, and penetrate your assigned territory (Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle, ACT) using cold calling, networking, and industry referrals.
- Build long‑term trust with prospective and existing customers by deeply understanding their operational needs.
- Demonstrate the full range of Manitou’s new and used equipment and advise customers on solutions that meet their unique requirements.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, turning leads into long‑term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to champion the Manitou product line and ensure customer success.
- Maintain impeccable records of interactions and progress using the Salesforce CRM system.
Qualifications
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency with valid work authorisation.
- 1–2 years of proven B2B sales experience in equipment, heavy machinery or related industries.
- Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic territory‑management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and an outgoing, can‑do attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high‑performing team.
- Full car licence to cover the territory across Sydney.
